The annual accountability release each state education agency publishes for its own schools.
Every state education agency publishes an annual report card covering its schools and districts — typically assessment results, graduation rates, absenteeism, and whatever additional indicators that state has adopted.
State report cards are the most current source available, often a full year or two ahead of the federal series, which is why recent graduation and outcome figures here come from them. The trade-off is comparability: each state defines its own indicators, cut scores and business rules, so report-card figures are sound within a state and hazardous across state lines.
