Service Agreement

This Service Agreement ("Agreement") governs your paid subscription to the PUMSdata service (the "Service") provided by [Company Legal Name] ("we", "us"). It supplements and incorporates our Terms of Service. By starting a subscription or free trial, you agree to this Agreement.

1. Plans & Pricing

We offer two subscription plans for full access to the Service:

• Monthly plan — $35.00 per month. Billed monthly in advance. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future monthly charges.
• Annual plan — $25.00 per month, billed annually as $300.00 per year (one payment, in advance, covering a 12-month term).

Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout. We may change pricing prospectively; changes apply to renewals after we give notice and never to a term you have already paid for.

2. Free Trial

We may offer a free trial (currently 2 days). Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your selected plan will begin automatically and the applicable fee will be charged. Only one trial per customer; we may modify or withdraw trial offers at any time.

3. Billing & Auto-Renewal

• Fees are charged in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, using the payment method you provide. You authorize us to charge that method for all fees when due.
• Subscriptions renew automatically — the Monthly plan renews each month and the Annual plan renews each year — at the then-current price, until you cancel.
• If a payment fails, we may suspend or terminate your access until payment is resolved.

4. Cancellation

• Monthly plan: You may cancel at any time. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly billing period; you will not be charged for the following month, and you retain access until that period ends.
• Annual plan: You may cancel at any time to prevent renewal. However, the annual term is a 12-month commitment: cancellation stops the next renewal but does not shorten or refund the current paid term. Your access continues until the end of the paid annual term.

You can cancel from your account settings or via the billing portal.

5. No Refunds

All fees are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for any reason, including for annual plans, partial subscription periods, unused time, downgrades, or periods during which you did not use the Service, except where a refund is required by applicable law. By choosing the Annual plan you specifically acknowledge that the $300.00 annual fee is non-refundable.

6. Effect of Cancellation or Termination on Your Data

When your subscription is canceled or terminated and your access period ends, you will lose access to the Service and to your account data — including saved maps, segments, comparisons, settings, and exports. We may deactivate and delete this data after your access ends and are not obligated to retain it. Export anything you wish to keep before canceling. We are not liable for any loss of data resulting from cancellation, termination, or non-payment.

7. Taxes

You are responsible for any sales, use, VAT, or similar taxes associated with your subscription, other than taxes based on our net income.

8. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. Your use of payment features is subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy in addition to this Agreement.

9. Term

This Agreement remains in effect for as long as you maintain an account or an active subscription. Sections relating to fees owed, no refunds, disclaimers, and limitations of liability survive termination.
